There are two levels of volunteers:

1 - Identify and Register AED locations TODAY with your smart phone! Watch this short video to learn how. (These AEDs will need to be Verified before EMS can access.)

2 - Become an AED location Verifier. A Verifier will confirm AED locations and make them instantly available by your local 911 Operator. It takes just 20 minutes to become a Verifier. In this free course, you will learn:

  • How to locate an AED
  • Identify and Register AED locations
  • How to verify AED locations
  • How to properly photograph an AED
  • How to properly describe and geotag the location, and
  • How to submit the AED location for publication

After taking this 20 minute course, you will have all the information you need to be a Cardiac Crusade Verifier, saving countless lives.

Julie is a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and cardiac arrest survivor. She is alive today because the people around her knew CPR and how to locate and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to bring her back to life. Greg learned the importance of knowing where the closest AED is located in case of emergency. Together they launched a mission (Cardiac Crusade) to have AED locations accessible to EMS/911 systems and on smart phones.
